Snow in Summer

How far back can I cut snow in summer once it has finished flowering? It's all brown and horrible between the earth and the green growth, can I cut it all off and it'll grow green from the roots again? And would this be the time to do it?

No, I wouldn’t have thought so. I wouldn’t risk it myself. Although it’s perennial, it’s basically a chickweed, not planning to grow as a mini-bush putting out new branches. What you could do, if you’re left with bare stuff in the middle, is dump some good soil/compost on top of the bare bit and encourage it to grow back into that area again.
