Flower ID please.

Hi I’m on holiday on the east coast of England and this yellow flower is everywhere.
Can anyone tell me what it is as it’s really pretty?

It's called pale yellow-eyed grass, I have it in my garden. Sisyrinchium striatum is the Latin name.

I love this, it spreads nicely (ie doesn't completely take over and is easily pulled out if it goes somewhere you don't want it). I am putting it through my flower beds as it also flowers when not much else is flowering in my borders. It's very undemanding so right up my street!
