Wisteria woes -HELP

BACKSTORY
I bought a wisteria Floribunda that I then forgot to plant and it looked a bit sad in its pot. Anyway eventually got around to playing it and it seemed to grow so happy days. 5 years later it was growing but slowly and it hadn’t flowered. I’d kind of given up hope and it’s in an area of the garden that I don’t see on a regular basis (ie out the window from my desk at home 🫣).

anyway been quite busy, garden has been a tad neglected and the weather shit and I haven’t “seen” it and didn’t notice it had fallen over and has been growing along the ground. It’s super happy and it has finally flowered 🌸

So happy it’s flowering, so unhappy that if I “lift” it back against the wall the leaves are the wrong side…..
its got manageable “stalks” but they aren’t too flexible- any advice to tame the beast?
TIA

You could probably cut it back, once it’s flowered and start again training new shoots where you want them to go…

Leaves will adjust and change their direction. Takes a few days

Thank you - dh likes to take a chain saw to everything so you are helping to fuel the argument against taking it back to total basics!

Hi all. Sorry to jump on. I have two wisteria which I bought last summer they are both still sticks. No branches leaves or buds. What should it look like now?

Thanks.

Mine didn’t flower for a couple of years. Now it’s beautiful.

Aw love it. Mine is a straight twig. No bumps

At the moment mine has buds so sounds like yours might be dead I’m sorry! Do you have a picture?
