Why are my lupin not flowering?

I grew them from seed in feb/March. They’ve grown a bit once outside but still no flowers. When I pass other gardens I see theirs are fully flowered. Not even a hint of a small flowering on mine.

Give them time. Mine have been incredible this year I think they’ve been in 4 years now. It’s the first year I’ve had a decent display

I got no flowers from the seeds I put in last year but have a beautiful display this year

They are what Monty calls biannuals, means you seed them during year 1 and they flower year 2.
And yes I do sadly watch gardeners world

Mine aren’t either, I bought them as very small plants from Crocus, and hoped for the best. But no flowers this year. Maybe, like yours, they’re too young to flower this year? I normally buy them as more established plants in Waitrose and they’re always in full flower by now.

That's a very healthy looking lupin! I sowed some last year and it's just about to flower now.
