well you can.... but it's likely to attract rats unless your compost is rat-proof.

No No No basic rule is don't try and compost any form of leftovers, cooked or processed food as it wil attract rats. Any form of raw veg matter, newspaper, shredded cardboard etc is fine. Your local council shopuld be able to provide a leaflet which tells you everything you can compost, and how - I found it really useful even though I had been making my own for a few years already.

Re: leftovers, can't I even put leftover cooked vegetables in it?
