Hozelock expanding hose

I've had this hose for a couple of years and last evening it started leaking everywhere. It seems the hose pipe within the yellow casing has severed, right in the middle of the hose length!
Has anyone had this problem? Is there any hope of repair or should I be replacing?

You can filter on your orders to set a time frame, you may need to look back further than you are.

I have had 2 of these hoses but not hozelock brand and this has happened to both.
Great idea but I think because of the material used to give them the "stretch" they are never going to be hard wearing or last ages.

The same happened to mine suddenly, I've found they have only lasted a year or two with frequent use.

Mine didn’t last a year. We bought a small traditional hose instead which has lasted four years.

I had one do this at 4.5 years old.

Went back through my Amazon Order history to find the original invoice and wrote to Hozelock Customer Care through the online link. They replaced it with a new one free of charge.

Was very impressed with their customer care. No quibbles just asked for a video to show it was leaking.

Ooh thank you for that! I still can't find my Amazon order but found a confirmation in my emails, so will send that to their customer care.
