Lilies?

For the past 2 years my potted lilies have given me a lovely show. This year however they just seem to be growing higher and higher, healthy green leaves but absolutely no signs of any flowers forming. Is this normal?

I'm loitering to hear answers as I'm having the same. It's my first year growing lilies and I thought they were doing really well but still no sign of flowers.

I was going to post the same, but today I think I can finally see the start of little flowers???

Mine don’t get flowers until they’re a bit taller than that

I have some that gave flowered and dropped already, and some that are taller than yours and inky just starting to form buds. Just keep watching and waiting. I love the surprise!

Mine are the same this year!

I've had some blind ones this year (new - Lidl) but the rest have all got buds, none opened yet though.
Pics were all a couple of weeks ago.

Mine are really tall - they get to about 2.5 feet in height! Been like that since I planted the bulbs 8 or 9 years ago. I just assumed they are what florists call 'long stemmed lillies'.
