Did anyone else lose their solanum last winter?

I’ve just realised that all three of my solanums aren’t flowering. Everything was slower to get going in my garden this spring (lupins aren’t properly up yet and they’d normally be in full bloom by now) so I hadn’t realised, but there is no growth in any of them. They’re each about four years old, one in full sun and two in part sun/part shade. I can only think that the frost has down for them, as it has my jasmines, which I am going to cut to the ground and wait and see.

Yes, we had quite a brutal winter and I lost mine, along with a few other plants. I even managed to lose a really pretty patio buddleia which I had planted last summer- I thought they were supposed to be tough as old boots!

Yes we lost our incredible full fence length solanum, it's gutting

Not just me then. Yes, one of ours that was in full sun was four fence panels wide, despite being relatively young. It was a purple one and it really liked where it was. I’m gutted too.
