Well behaved indoor evergreen trailing plant

Hi all
am redecorating our dining room and have some lovely raw edge walnut bookshelves in there, which I want to add colour/texture to with a couple of small and manageable trailing green plants. It’s unfortunately quite a gloomy room (hence adding plants and also a mirror and new flooring by to brighten things) so can’t be something that needs too much light. Needs to be something that will stay fairly small and not turn into a triffid as well! Any recommendations?

Trailing ivy.

I have some pretty indestructible neon pothos and variegated pothos.

Good old spider plants or tradescantia would both work. Just trim them back (and make new plants) if they do get a bit OTT.

I like the idea of the neon pothos thank you, it would bring some additional light colour to the room I think

I've got a philodendron in my gloomy bathroom that lives its best life with the bare minimum of care!

Should have said the one with the heart-shaped leaves - philodendron scandens, I think.
