Moving Sedum Autumn Joy

My sedum has grown huge this year, and now I remember I intended to move it in spring to a sunnier spot as it went a bit floppy last year, is it too late to dig up and move?

Not the ideal time but in my experience they are indestructible, so if you can't wait until winter when it's dormant then do it.

I'd probably take a few cuttings as insurance though.

Thanks @CatherinedeBourgh, I’ll take my chances and move it.

I dug one up the other day and it's still lying where I left it on the gravel, looking exactly the same - doesn't seem to have gone limp even. I've got too many and they always flop. You could try giving it the Chelsea chop though instead of moving it, sedums are perfect for this apparently.
