Can you help me identify this plant? I don't even know if it's a useful one or some weeds. It was in the same pot as another plant and was given to me a while ago. Thank you

It looks a bit like Phlox but I'm no expert!

@MereDintofPandiculation that's probably the one!! I vaguely remember purple asters last year, thank you! I think they're overcrowded where they are, I re-potted a few a week ago and they have already shot up so much more than the other ones! I might re-pot some more now
