What's wrong with my rose plant

I bought a new patio rose and within a couple of weeks I noticed the leaves looking like this , I assumed a fungal disease and have spent the last week pulling off all the effected leaves and spraying with baking powder. Every time I look at it I find leaves that need pulling off, it's soon going to have no leaves left.
What can I do?!

Looks like black spot, a very common fungal disease in roses. You could try spraying with Roseclear, which claims to help.

A bit of black spot, but yellowing leaves tend to mean a nutrient deficiency. Give it a feed. My limited experience of patio roses is they are either indestructible or they suffer from everything then die in the first season.

It's hungry.

Feed it, water it, put some well rotted horse manure on it.

They put all their energy into blooming this time of year. The flowers take it all. So in order for the plant to have enough nutrients to flower and stay healthy you need to feed it regularly.

The positives are if you dead head as flowers finish you'll get a whole second flowering later. Possibly a third as we did last year.

Thank you all, I'll get some manure and give it a feed, hopefully that will help it. I'll keep an eye on the leaves from there.
