How to plant a Peony root?

I've read conflicting advice. 15cns or 5 cm deep. It has green shoots so 15cn seems strange.

No, you want it shallow. I planted mine with the tips peeking out (before there were green shoots) and they've done fine.

Agree with CatherinedeBourgh. They need shallow planting or they won't flower. Tubers no more than an inch below the surface. Love peonies. L

Mine are growing after doing this- I assume I don't get flowers until next spring?

Yes, it will need watered 🌧- always a good idea to give new potted plants a good soak before and after planting, bare root after
