Lavender TLC

I bought this lavender from the sale section of the garden centre. I’m a complete novice so I wondered if someone could tell me what TLC this needs to give it more life? Do I need to trim the dead or dying flowers?

It looks fine, it will recover. Tidy it up a bit but it should perk up soon enough.

Some water and fresh compost while planting, followed by some sunshine should perk it up. They thrive on neglect in my garden. When I first bought a lavender I killed it with kindness by obsessively watering and feeding. I don't water them unless they look unhappy and then they bounce back. I feed a slow release fertiliser once in spring and leave them to it.
