White/Green small urban garden

I'm moving to a town house with a very small southwest facing garden. 100ft x 15ft.
Starting from scratch- I will have a viburnum plicatum for height at the back and a malus evereste.
Ground cover will be a beautiful geranium macrorrhyzum which Is divided into several plants.
What would be your 'must have' white/green plants for all year round interest?
Thanks for your help!

Euonymus springs to mind.

Malus evereste is such a good choice, everyone should have one.

@AntoniaMacaronia
Thank you!
There are some lovely green/white variegated varieties.

Sweet woodruff, white hydrangea, euphorbia,

Lamium album for slightly higher ground cover, a couple of white roses possibly climbers (iceberg is reliable and long flowering). Something that spills over edges and softens them bacopa, fleabane or similar

Sweet woodruff, white hydrangea, euphorbia,

Second these plus astrantia, ammi, and bladder campion (silene vulgaris) which I think is so underrated- easy from seed, perennial, edible, unusual and gives lovely meadowy movement!

White feather Hosta, cosmos purity, lanium white nancy

Id add ferns, and gillenia trifoliata to the list. Although I like the garden to change with the seasons so neither of those are year round. Oh if you are feeling brave I have variegated ground elder which is actually lovely, very fresh looking, and not anything like as as rampant as green, but you do need to put it back in its place every year.

Deutzia (white var. obviously)
Lilac

Gaura

Then annuals like
Cosmos
Foxgloves (biannual)
Nicotiana

Bulbs, snowdrops, scented narcissus like Thalia or Xit, tulips like spring green and elegant verde.
Anemone honorine Joubert, a white wisteria and a multi stemmed silver birch to watch over it all.

That’s not small!

I’ll add hellebore, alchemilla mollis, erigeron, convulvulus cneorum, a white “bleeding heart”, trachelospermum jasminoid up the sides, maybe a clematis armandii.

LilyRed · 21/05/2023 00:49

Osmanthus burkwoodii (shrub) beautiful scented white flowers in spring and a green foil for other plants later.
Veronicastrum virginicum album - late summer; tall so back of border.
Agastache alba or one of the other white varieties thereof - scented leaves and flowers.
Libertia grandiflora - grassy leaves often bronzed, with white flowers
Geranium Phaeum Alba - often taller than the other geraniums, flowers are gorgeous.
I think I would have everything suggested in the above posts so far if my garden was large enough!

Oh fantastic!
I've woken up to some brilliant suggestions- a lot of which I haven't heard of so I need to have a look at all of them.
Thank you so much brilliant gardeners!
