It looks pot bound to me. When did you last re-pot it?

These are shade loving plants, maybe it’s too sunny in that windowsill. Also, don’t let it sit in water in the cover pot as that can rot the roots.

Basically you need a plant pot about 2 inches bigger in diameter than the current one and an inch or two deeper. Put some potting compost in the new pot, remove your plant from the existing pot, pop it in the new one and fill the gap with new compost. The old soil level should end up level with the new soil - about 1/2 inch from the top of the pot. You should be able to get anything you need somewhere like Wilco.

If the plant doesn't want to come out of the old pot bang it on the table a couple of times to loosen it!

Once repotted try moving it out of the window to a shadier place and see if it prefers a different position. Did wonders for my peace lily!
