Weed or plant

I vaguely recall planting something that looked like this a couple of years ago in this spot but after a bit of garden neglect we now find this plant/weed and can't figure out whether to pull it out or not. Anyone able to give me an answer? Thanks!

Could it be a bellflower? Does that sound familiar?

It could be a trailing campanula (bellflower). Probably blue or white flowers.

Thanks all. I honestly cannot remember what it was that I planted but it's just the way it is spreading made me think it was a weed.

A weed is a plant.

A weed is basically a plant growing some where you don’t want it. So the same plant can be a weed in one place and a wanted plant in another, or a weed to one person and a wanted plant to another. “Plant or weed?” is a question only the OP can answer.

I'm thinking campanula as well - they do get vigorous!
