Evergreen shrubs for full sun

I am in the process of installing a pond. There is room for non-aquatic plants all the way round. I would prefer mainly evergreens that aren't too messy so I won't need to keep fishing stuff out the pond. The pond is in full sun although we're at the top of a hill so it can get a bit breezy. What would people recommend?
