Creeping thyme.

I have a small drainage edging around my house, filled with small pebbles. The majority of my garden is stones with flower beds and pots.
I was considering prettying the edging up with some nice purple creeping thyme.
Has anyone done this, and can recommend it? Also could anyone please recommend some reputable seed stockists?
Thank you.

Yes, I have done similar in a place with barely any soil, I had several different varieties of creeping thyme and it was lovely.

Any recommendations for seeds?

Sorry, not in UK!

We have this - Thymus serpyllum and Thymus praecox. They both love gravelly edges and full sun. They tend to creep towards the sun over the years but are very easy to dig up and divide and plant new bits around. They have seeded all over the patio and gravel drive.
