Any ideas what these are?

I noticed these coming through in a bed yesterday. Are they a weed or something to keep?

Wild garlic? Not sure though - pick a leaf and smell it

What was the dead tree stump? Are they seedlings from a cherry or apple or similar?

Not garlic...given em the benefit of the doubt for a week or so but I suspect weed

I've no idea what the tree stump is because it was long gone before we bought the house. They're not in the way so I'll leave them be for a bit just in case they turn out to be worth keeping.

Agree not wild garlic, but “weed” is entirely a personal decision. To me, Alchemilla mollis is a weed, but people pay good money for them
