Rabbits and alliums

Everything I read says that rabbits do not eat ornamental alliums or lavender. If that's the case WTF is munching the new leaves of my baby lavender and taking off the stems of my alliums?

Have you seen bunnies? Might also be muntjac deer...

Sparrows or pigeons?

Or possibly squirrels

I've not seen bastard muntjac, as they are know in this house, around here and all the other lovely alliums in the garden are untouched. It's only the bed furthest from the house and next to a hedge that I know is home to a family of bunnies that are being munched. It's odd, the flower stems are being bitten through at the base, bud discarded....
