Wooden/small greenhouse

Are they worth it/any recommendations? We don’t have room for a proper greenhouse but wooden, small ones seem pretty expensive. Or there’s the Aldi type ones but are they rubbish?

They blow around a lot. I've gotten on really well with my Aldi cold frame - could that work for you? You could have a few of them all lined up against a south facing wall of your house for added warmth. I think they look quite nice!

I've got the small aldi wooden greenhouse and its actually been really good! Everything I put in it over winter has survived, and it is currently housing some cucumber, french bean and seet pea seedlings which are doing well! Its against the south facing wall of our house so heats up with even a little bit of sun.

I've got the Aldi mini too, now on its second year. You get what you pay for, it's not going to withstand a hurricane, but in a sheltered sunny spot it's fine.

You can get quite a surprising amount of stuff in it with planning.

Love the Aldi one, it's lasted me two years very well and I grew sweet peas, cornflowers and larkspur in it over winter (with frost cloth). The snapdragons didn't make it but it was very cold this winter.

It got through the very strong winds we had last spring with lots of heavy pots in the base.

They are all right if you weigh them down with something like heavy pots or a paving slab in the base. I use mine for overwintering cuttings taken the previous year and for quickly shoving something small in if there's going to be a late frost.
