Indian horsechestnut leaves dying?

Hi all. I have a small Indian horsechestnut that was planted last year. The leaves have just emerged. I’ve noticed that some of them are looking a bit whithered and brown already including leaves from apical bud. Do you think this might be wind burn or could it be something else. Thanks

Could it be frosted?
If new leaves are frosted ime they recover but possibly not as robust looking as if they're not frosted.

Thanks @GretaGood. I never thought of frost and there was a couple of nights last week that were frosty.
