What soil for hanging baskets.

First year doing hanging baskets. I know roughly what I’m putting in them. Settled on two 14 inch ones. Just not sure what soil to use. I’m guessing not top soil. So what ?

There are specific pots and hanging basket soil mixes out there but personally I use ordinary multi purpose. Does the job just fine.

Multipurpose compost usually.
