Arghhhh choosing a cherry tree, does anybody know about rootstock, support etc?

Do Gisela 5 and Colt cherry trees need permanent staking?How big do Colt trees get? Are they too big for a small to med garden?

In general, the more dwarfing the rootstock, the more likely you are to need permanent support. Just bumping for you!
