Blueberry recommendations

I've just been gifted a blueberry alvar in a pot and now I'm after a friend for it for cross pollination. This will also be grown in a pot. Can anyone recommend an alternative variety?

I've never had blueberries before. I'm quite likely to buy it online so any recommendations for online blueberry nurseries would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know that variety, but in my experience blueberries basically all flower around the same time, so any variety will do as a pollinator. Maybe find out whether yours is an early, medium or late variety and try to find one that will extend your season. Most of the fruit nurseries sell blueberries but check the pot size before buying as sometimes the plants can be tiny. Trehane is the specialist nursery for blueberries and they sell decent sized plants.

Despite having 4 different blueberry plants, they all seem to cross-pollinate very happily.
