Has my jasmine had it?!

I have a large jasmine climbing a fence and I thought it was all over but there is the very odd semi green leaf, what can I do to save it? I thought it was well established as has survived a few winters!!

Same! I’m leaving mine until the end of April before I consider a funeral. Two weeks of frost last year did for so many things in my garden.

😂 I hope it doesn’t come to that! Will you just leave it be and see what happens?

Yep. I cut all the dead bits off from the fence but have left the base clump. Hoping for the best as it was a birthday present.

I bough a 6ft one last march and planted it.

Most died in the frost at the end of april 2022.

It regrew after I cut it back.

And it's all died again this year! So I've pulled it up and written it off. Sigh.

No advice but I can relate - I've had two die on me now. The most recent is just a mass of brown dried up leaves and twigs. I don't think they are very hardy, sadly. It's a shame because they smell so beautiful!!

What type of jasmine ? I bought 2 last year from Asda and they died very quickly when the cold hit, to be fair they were more patio plants and not hardy at all. I've just bought some common jasmine and hoping it will live longer than a few months.
