Best hardy daisy?

I'm looking for a low growing daisy (purple preferably) for the front of some borders

I had some African daisies which died off and didn't come back (2 years ago) and don't think my aster alpines are coming back this year

Do you have any recommendations please ? Guessing I need something hardy as don't want to keep replacing every year :/

Erigeron glaucus “Sea breeze” might fit your requirements, low growing, deciduous perennial with lavender flowers.

I second Erigeron glaucus. There are other varieties available besides “Sea breeze”

my Erigeron died in the -9 twelve day freeze here in Wales, but shasha daisies, anemones and feverfew survived well.
