Hi! I had several potted cornus and two potted hydrangea delivered late today. It's too late to get out digging but the temperatures are to dip below freezing tonight.
Is it better to protect them outside using plastic bags and bubble wrap or whatever, or to bring them in the kitchen for a night where it might be too warm (about 17 degrees maybe)? I have no shed, greenhouse, polytunnel, or cold frame. It's a small urban back garden. Normally I'd just get them into the ground right away.
Help!
