I bought some violas yesterday for my mums pots, with the potential snow in the week I've put them in the greenhouse
When do you recommend I plant them outside?

Violas can definitely withstand sub zer temps and snow - we’ve had ours out in pots since last October and they look fabulous now. I’d do it whenever you can get round to it but don’t worry about the cold snap.

Oh that's great news, I didn't want to kill them off in the snow!
Thanks!!!

They are lovely, little, hardy plants with beautiful petals, like faces. Towards the end of their season I stop deadheading them and the next year find they’ve self seeded in all sorts of interesting places.

They are so cute and yes it's their little faces!
