Bath bomb water in the garden

We can get a free water butt from our water company and would have found it very useful for watering the garden last summer.

However our downpipe also has our bath and sink waste connected to it so most of the water diverted to the waterbutt will be from our showers, baths and teeth brushing etc.

My DD and I both like a bath bomb at this time of year. Can we still use this water on the garden if we were to get a butt?

if it doesn't contain glitter it should be fine. it's basically just soap which if very diluted.

I wouldn’t. Is that the only down pipe you have? Could you put guttering on your shed and collect water that way?

Be careful about using 'fresh' grey water on plants.
Even ecological products will leave a surplus of active ingredients in grey water which could weaken plants if applied directly

Yes it's the only downpipe. Our shed is a section under the house so doesn't have a roof.

Our butt only has rain water. Would waste water not get a bit rank, with spit, skin cells and other organic stuff? I'm sure the plants don't care but it's a bit yuck!
As for the bath bombs depends how chemical they are. They obviously aren't harmful to humans but no idea about vegetation.

Don't use the water on vegetables etc - pubic hair on your strawberries 🍓
