Please help my fingers aren't even the slightest bit green!! I have a lovely jasmine plant and an orchid in my bedroom which I water every couple
Of days and most too. The leaves of both are turning dry/brown and falling off. The orchids white flowers are turning yellow and falling off and it's not lack of water. If anyone has any ideas please help!!

With the orchid, I suspect that you might be over watering. Orchids need much less than you imagine.

over watering and potentially lack of light. Orchids need an ice cube size of water once a week, if that.

jasmine, poke your finger in the pot a little bit and if it’s wet under the top layer (sticks to your finger) water it. If not leave it. I’d guess once a week or every two weeks there too

I don’t always bother with my orchids but they like soft rainwater rather than hard tap water (depending what area you’re in).

I put my orchids in the sink once a week or so (sometimes less, never more) and pour loads of rainwater through - like, half a pint or more, and I bring it in the day before so it isn’t too cold (spoilt plants!). Let it drain so they are not sitting in a puddle then put them back and ignore them until next time

@bigbadbarry I will try this thank you so much x
