Daffodil bulbs

Hello if I plant daffodil bulbs in containers now - will them bloom for late April

It's too late for bulbs to bloom this year but they would bloom next year if you left them planted, usually you plant daffodil bulbs in autumn.

However, you could buy daffodils in pots that are already starting to sprout and plant those this year if you're wanting a display this spring. I've done that for this year as I didn't have chance to plant bulbs in autumn.

Thanks so much. I bought them and forgot to plant them. I don’t need a display this year so maybe I will just shove them in and hope for something nice next year 🤭

Are they starting to sprout? If so you might get lucky and get some flowers, it will depend on the variety. Better in the ground than in the bag.
