Jerusalem artichokes would you move them now.?

So I started my jerusalem artichoke patch at my newish home last year. As it was very dry they only got to half the height they should have although I did water. Tubers have been left in the ground. Just wondering whether to disturb the tubers and try and spread them about to make a better crop this year or leave them?

Yes, dig them up now. They’ll be a bit crowded if you just leave them.
