When do garden centres get chillie seedlings in?

What month, usually?

Am furious with the cat. I left the lid off my heated propagator for 3 minutes, in a distant room, and he found it and has tip pruned every one of my ready-to-pot up chillies. In 3 minutes. All 30 of them.

So rather than go through the rigmarole again, I think I'll buy seedlings.

Theyre already in mine but its very early

He ate the tips?

Yes, he nibbled the new baby leaves off.

He's fine, btw!

But I can't have any accessible houseplants! (He's an indoor cat).

My cat has managed to upturn all my seedlings for last few years so feel your pain.
This year am using windowsill and have put mesh across so cat cant jump up.
Have you looked at getting plugs online?
Pasture fire (chillies4u) are great.
South Devon Chilli farm good too.

It's very easy to grow chillies from the seeds in supermarket chillies.

Yes, I know! But the (indoor) cat then destroyed the seedlings! I need sturdy seedlings, now, that might survive a frost-busted greenhouse. In order to survive! 😊
