bulbs. and storing them.

if unplanted bulbs have started to sprout a bit... can i store them in a dark place, or must i plant them now?

I've got a box of those too! I think they need to be planted now, otherwise they will have no nutrients with which to survive (sorry, that was really badly worded). Am tired & have D&V bug.
