Treated myself to 2 large round 50cm pots from wilko .I brought one set of can holders so I can grow some climbing plant if wanted but need suggestions. Looking for something with height and will last all year but not massively expensive? Thanks

What location did you have in mind OP? Is it sunny or shaded?

@IcakethereforeIam They will be in full sun if I put them near my benches

If they're going to be where you sit, I'd put in something scented. Lavender? Does well in sun, needs little care, can be scruffy overwinter. Or rosemary. Or a standard scented rose for height, which would be a little more expensive. There are scented climbers. Non of which I can recall at the moment.

Plant it full of annuals, different varieties, some trailing like lobelia. I did this last year and it was gorgeous!! Definitely doing it again

Or a climbing David Austin rose, I have Strawberry Hill in a 50cm pot withan obelisk

How about bamboo? I have some in a similar sized pot, lots of height and it's green all year and very easy to maintain.

Oh definitely some beautiful David Austin roses! Perfect size for them. What type of pots are they?
