Mouldy bulbs

I've just found a few packets that have gone mouldy. Worth chucking in a lot to see if any can be salvaged or pointless?

if they feel firm, like a good fresh supermarket onion, I would plant them.
if they feel squishy they are a case for the compost bin.

Great! I've given the firm ones a go and put in a planter. Can't get a spade in the earth!

Will update (if any success) with photos. Quite a mishmash of bulbs poured in though!!
