What are these plants/shrubs?

Hi there,

I love this garden! I'd like to slowly try and recreate it in my garden. Does anyone have any idea what the big purple tree is? And some of the other plants/shrubs?

Many thanks

😊

Really hard to tell from those pictures because they're so small. The purple tree is probably a form of cercis. Do you have a link to the website so we can take a better look?

Purple tree looks like smokebush to me. The plant to the foreground on the left of photo 3 (spikey with purple flowers) I think might be bears breeches?

I've lost the link grrr! It's the purple tree I'm in love with! It's so beautiful.

Looks like purple hazel to me

And tall flowers in third pic look like echium pininana

I do like a google challenge. Here it is.

The link @senua posted has all the plant names on there. The purple tree is Cercis canadensis ‘Forest Pansy’ Its a beautiful garden and I hope it works out in your garden @Cherryblossom200

Agree the purple is Cercis Canadensis “Forest Pansy” . I have one and it is lovely, and pretty tough.

Thanks everyone so much 😊

Agree with this. You can get non purple ones too. I'm growing this one in a large container: www.ornamental-trees.co.uk/cercis-chinensis-avondale-tree-p584

If you expand the pic, you’ll see the leaves are heart shaped, and not hazel leaf shape.

Smoke bush is nice too. Even though it’s not the one in the picture it gives a similar effect - worth looking at.
