What can I sow in November?

Hi all.
I'm in South east England and just wondered if there are any flower seeds that I can sow in November and keep in a cold frame over winter ready to plant out next year?

Thanks!

I’m planting to plant allium bulbs straight into the ground next week.

Sweet peas and snap dragons.

sweet peas and holly hocks.

i sowed holly hocks in spring last time, they were ok in surviving but i want to try starting them now to see if there’s a difference in performance.

I am in a group on Facebook that does a month by month 'grow along'. For November the flower seeds we are starting are Sweet Peas, Malope, Calendula, Dill and Musk Mallow.

It's best to start them off on a windowsill indoors and once germinated, move to the cold frame.

@Nigelladamascena are you also doing the floral project? :)
I’ll be doing the same as you along with larkspur and Nigella as the ones I sowed last month have been erratic in germinating. I usually keep things inside the warmth of the house to germinate and then move into a sheltered part of the garden.

Chipsandcheese49 yes I am, it's great. I started trying to grow flowers last year with mixed success. Until I started following the Floral Project I didn't realise you could start so many seeds off in Autumn.

I am starting mine off inside and then moving them to the greenhouse. My Sweet Peas and Malopes are a bit reluctant to germinate but Nigella, Ammi Majus, Goeditia and Cornflowers are doing well.

Also hellebores. They take forever to germinate.

Christmas Rose (Hellebore)

I sow all my seeds in November and then they all come up fairly early when they are ready without the need for coldframes.
