Can anyone recommend a superfast growing climber?

...for the roof of DS's playhouse, which is not the best colour for the garden, being bright red and plastic! Would prefer an evergreen but whatever really, i have no clue about which plants to buy. Thanks

If you really want speed the Russian vine (also known as the mile-a-minute plant) will do the job very quickly...

The fast ones tend to carry on growing at an alarming rate, so you may want to be patient and choose something a bit less rampant. Just a thought, plants tend to attract bugs and spiders which might colonize the inside of the playhouse

Or how about covering the roof with a camouflage tarpaulin?

there are quite a few clematis out there some are evergreen, you need to pop along to a decent garden centre and ask.

thank you, they all sound excellent. Maybe i'll just get lots of slower ones and put them all over! Chippyminton i will let DS deal with the bugs, am too pregnant to get in the house so will definitely not be getting stuck in there with them!
