Help me keep these plants alive!

I've inherited some plants - and aloe vera that probably needs repotting, some baby spider plants, an orchid and something unidentified. Please help me keep them alive!

Unidentified plant (photos below) seems to thrive on neglect and a bit of water every now and again. It also appears to have brought some tiny friends along for the ride too.

The orchid (photo below) was non existent. Its not been watered or anything for months and I've just found it like this (it was flopped over but I've popped it up against the cane, it didn't so that by itself!)

Any wisdom gratefully received 😊

stand the orchid pot in water for an hour once a fortnight. Give the aloe a good water once a fortnight everything else once per week.

Keep the orchid near a window but out of direct light, it'd probably be okay with morning sun. I agree with pp about watering, I leave mine to soak for 15 mins though, I set a timer or I'd forget it, then let it drain before putting it back in its potholder. Sometimes I add a drop or two of orchid food to the soaking water.

Thank you both, I don't think I've ever managed to keep a plant alive before!

Any idea what unidentified plant may be? I feel compelled to call him Bruce

Regarding Bruce, I'm not at all sure. it he puts me in mind of a peace lily or of that ilk. I know you can get varieties of that with broader leaves and white variagations, so types with red patches are probably available. I've never owned a peace lily, but I suspect it's probably best in indirect light, like the orchid. As for watering, a general rule is water when the top cm or so of the soil/potting mix feels dry. Don't leave it sat in water or its roots may rot. Feed, with dilute plant food, during the growing season.

I think the wee plant at the side is an offset, I think Bruce is having a baby! 🍾

Bruce (Brucette?) is thriving on the kitchen window so I'll see what s/he turns into!

I vaguely know what Bruce is, can’t remember the name. Basically tropical forest plant, so won’t like too dry an atmosphere, kitchen probably good in that respect. So is standing him on a water filled tray , on pebbles to keep his feet out of the water. He won’t like standing in summer sun.

Bruce looks a lot like a canna, can you post pictures when he's grown a bit more?
