Can I leave gladioli over winter?

I planted gladioli bulbs in a massive pot in my front yard last year and they've been glorious this summer! The leaves are still there, still looking green and nice. Should I cut the leaves and dig up the bulbs, or would it be ok to just leave everything as is, until next year?..

I would leave them alone until the leaves die off and not disturb them. Mine have been in the border for years and they gradually spread.

Same here. We grow them on a pretty exposed allotment (for cutting). Never do anything with them except cover with a cople of inches of compost over winter.

Always been fine.
