Weeds!!!

Okay so my lawn has never been great. But after the heatwave in the summer when it was like a desert - the rain came and these fuckers are rife.

I'm going to strim them as soon as we get a dry day. What the heck can I do? My mum says Green Thumb

Strimming won't get rid of them as their roots will remain and they'll just re-grow. If you're not inclined to dig them out, use a selective lawn weedkiller (not glyphosate) which will kill broadleaved weeds but not the grass.

Yes that looks very much like mallow. Find someone local with a tortoise they'll be very grateful!

Mallow is like the holy grail for a tortoise and they eat far more than you'd think!

Cherish them. We need bio-diversity in gardens.
