A houseplant identification one

Can anyone identify this? I’ve had several googling bouts to no avail. It flowers once a year and the bloom lasts for several weeks. Strap leaves and bulbous base.

Haemanthus albiflos - native to S. Africa.

Thank you Nan, much appreciated. It’s a rescue found on the pavement outside a block of flats a few years ago, only had two leaves then. Good to put a name to a face!
