Poly-tunnel is up.....what can I plant?!?

As title says really! poly tunnel/walk in grow house is up and I'm desperate to get something, anything, planted! Grateful for any advice or suggestions....

For info:

*We're in central Scotland

*I've got one big veg-trug in it already, with the own cover

*everything else will need to be on shelves in seed trays with propagator lids

*I'd love to get a head start with annuals and perennials for planting out in spring bit getting very confused about the protection the poly tunnel will provide....is it the same as a cold frame/greenhouse?

*flowers are my thing, but want to have a go at fruit and veg too

Picture for reference (and because I'm very excited about my new nit of gardening kit!)

Congratulations, your new ploy tunnel should give you loads of pleasure.

At this time of year you can grow lettuce and fast growing salad and herbs - look for a lettuce seed called ‘all year round’, you can also try radishes and basil.

It won’t be long until you can start off broad beans and sweet peas to plant outside in the spring.

In terms of protection, yes, a bit like a cold frame or greenhouse, maybe not quite as much, it will keep the wet off but won’t keep much of the cold out.

Enjoy browsing the seed catalogues and planning. This company has lists of what you can sow by month for both veg and flowers. Being in Scotland you may want to look a month later than the current month though.
