What type of grass is this?

Hello, the lawn looks very bare and there are obvious brown patch that I need to fix. Does anyone have any idea what type of grass this is ? (I'm totally noob).

If its on a well used area just get some seed thats for hard wearing areas. Most places sell that, eg diy stores, wilkos, the range. You can get different seed but they tend to be for more specific areas eg cricket pitch, wildlife area, animal fodder etc
