Overseeding after applying weed killer?

Bought Aftercuts All in One today to kill off-the moss in my garden before scarifying in two weeks time when the moss has died. I’ve pulled up most weeds myself.

Plan was to aerate and reseed my lawn the day after scarifying but I’ve read that I’ve got to wait 6 weeks after using the moss killer? Is this really necessary? I’m worrying I’ve left it too late as I know the ideal time to overseed is September.

I’ve bought Lawn Feed to apply after overseeding.

No point in seeding then scarifying. You’ll kill any emerging seedlings

That isn’t my plan. Plan is to apply weed killer, scarify two weeks later then aerate/overseed. Then apply lawn feed.

I would suggest you you obey the packaging, or you could try seeding and be prepared to re-seed if it doesn’t work.

have you rectified the conditions that led to having the moss in the first place? If not it’s likely to recur

Leave it. Seeding in October isn’t a problem, it’s only another couple of weeks

There's a difference between "ideal time" and "only now will do".

You know that gardens do not follow rules books. Considering how dry it has been (is still being) this year, it might be an idea to delay.
