Grape vine

I have an old grape vine that was dormant for a few years. We put a poly tunnel over it and the first year it leafed, second year a few grapes appeared but it was bitten by the late frosts. This is the third year and there are grapes all over it - but I’m not sure they are quite right.

I should have done more research into it, but I’m just wondering if anyone can tell me if these grapes are developing normally? Last year I had a few sporadic bunches, but they disappeared overnight (I think the birds had them as second they were ready. If they are edible, I don’t want to miss the boat this year.

What do they taste like?

No idea, I don’t like grapes (but the kids do), should I use the kids as guinea pigs?

I think they are a variety of long grape, Moon drop grape? Ok to eat and apparently very sweet. Seems like you’re in luck.

That’s good info, do they usually come in different colours - or are the green ones not ready yet?
