Hello, I've bought some troughs for the garden (75cm x 28cm x 28cm) but I'm clueless what to put in them and would be very grateful for advice.

Ideally I'm trying to recreate this photo. Does anybody know what any of these plants/flowers are? Or have any other recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Box balls
Petunia
Oleander?

Trailing thing could be some sort of lobelia? Not sure

I would put some sort of euonymus or hebe as your evergreen look nice over winter. Then fill with bedding in the spring

It looks like box balls at either end, with a picea glauca conica in the middle. Everything else is summer flowering tender stuff.

You could put in some ivy to trail over the sides and winter flowering pansies, and maybe some spring flowering bulbs as well.
